Wowie, a farmers market calendar

We just spent a couple of hours putting this together: A Google calendar of all* the farmers markets in the city for the 2010 season. Please, go use this.

…Because we are geeks. Because we like using Google apps. Because this is open and free and you can add to it and make it better. (Tell us what vendors are there! What you like. When it’s best to go. That sort of thing.)

*We did our best to get every market on there, but, you know, online records of what’s happening when and where are a bit inconsistent. Help us fill the holes?

    Is this more comprehensive than the Federation of Mass. Farmers Markets webpage? They seem to have most markets on there, but their page is kind of hard to use.

    the calendar is great! thank you so much. i can’t figure out how to add… but the Waltham Market is now open.. Saturdays 9:30-2:30 until Nov 6

    One to add: The Codman Square Farmers’ Market in Dorchester runs June 24-October 28, 1-6pm every Thursday at the Codman Commons.

    you forgot to make your friday/copley market repeat every week. also, union square/somerville on saturdays. and charlestown … some day of the week.

    thanks for the adds, guys. tania–do you know when the union sq market ends? and i was having a hard time finding a consistent record for the charlestown market…
